Lindsey McKoy, APC
Now welcoming new clients ✨
If you’re ready to understand yourself better and make meaningful changes, Lindsey walks alongside you with care and honesty.
Hi, I’m Lindsey (she/her)! I’m an eclectic therapist, which means I don’t believe in forcing people into one therapeutic box. Instead, I take the time to understand you—your story, your needs, and what might be most helpful at this point in your life. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, self-image concerns, social anxiety, career stress, mood challenges, aging-related transitions, and identity-related experiences, including LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC concerns.
I chose an eclectic approach because I believe therapy should be flexible, responsive, and human. I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral, Narrative, Adlerian, and Feminist perspectives, blending approaches in a way that fits you, not the other way around. I’ve worked with a wide range of individuals and groups, and one thing has always stood out: everyone has a story they want to tell, but many haven’t had the space to truly be heard. My goal is to offer you that space—fully and without judgment.
My therapeutic style is collaborative, curious, and grounded in respect. I often work with clients who are open to the process but feel unsure of themselves or disconnected from their needs. You might be working on building self-awareness, learning how to set and enforce boundaries, improving communication, or navigating shame, guilt, low motivation, or low self-esteem. Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way and work toward a version of yourself that feels more confident, aligned, and grounded.
In our sessions, you can expect honesty, support, and a therapist who walks alongside you rather than ahead of you. I believe that life is hard—and recognizing that you can’t do it alone is not a failure, but a powerful step forward. Even considering therapy is an accomplishment, and it tells me there’s already a part of you that wants something better.
Guiding Vibe: You deserve to be heard, supported, and proud of who you’re becoming.
If you’re thinking about reaching out, I hope you know this: asking for help takes courage and you are worthy of receiving it. When you’re ready, I’d be honored to walk with you through this next chapter and support you as you build a life you feel proud of.
