Book with Satin

Hi, I’m Satin (she/her)! Choosing a therapist is an important decision, and I appreciate you taking the time to be here. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals and couples through a wide range of life challenges. I earned both my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my master’s degree in Counseling from Clark Atlanta University, and my work has included settings such as state government forensic counseling and private practice, including premarital counseling.

I work with adults and couples navigating self-esteem concerns, anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship and career challenges, women’s issues, parenting concerns, adjustment-related stress, and mood-related difficulties. No matter what brings you to therapy, I believe your experiences do not define your future—and that meaningful change is always possible.

My therapeutic style is warm, goal-oriented, and supportive, with a strong emphasis on creating a safe, judgment-free space for growth. I help clients clarify individualized goals and work toward them using realistic, time-specific steps. I draw from solution-focused, existential, and person-centered approaches, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs while encouraging self-reflection, insight, and healthy coping strategies.

In our work together, you can expect a therapist who is attentive, professional, and genuinely invested in your growth. Clients often describe me as outgoing, approachable, and warm, with a sense of humor when appropriate. I believe therapy can be both meaningful and empowering—and that even long-standing challenges don’t get to write the rest of your story.

Guiding Vibe: You are the author of your life—your past doesn’t get the final word.

If you’re ready to invest in yourself and take steps toward change, I’d be honored to support you. You already have more strength and power than you may realize, and therapy can be a place to reconnect with that truth.
