Now welcoming new clients

Warm, creative, and playful, Anastassia helps kids, teens, and adults feel safe being themselves while building practical tools for healing and growth.

Hi, I’m Anastassia (she/her)! I’m a therapist who brings warmth, patience, creativity, and a little playfulness into the therapy space. I work with kids, teens, and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and parenting challenges. My goal is to create a space where you can slow down, let your guard down, and feel comfortable being fully yourself.

My family moved to the United States from Antigua and Barbuda, and I grew up between both places. Those experiences have shaped the way I think about people, connection, and the environments we create around ourselves. I believe our surroundings and the energy we bring into a space can influence how we feel, so I’m intentional about creating a therapy environment that feels calm, welcoming, and comfortable.

Outside of therapy, I’m an arts person through and through. I love music (especially jazz lately), painting, pottery, writing, dancing, and baking for the people I care about—food is definitely one of my love languages. I’m also a big believer in taking yourself on a solo date and learning how to enjoy your own company. There’s something meaningful about getting to know yourself outside of who you are to everyone else.

My therapeutic style is warm, playful, collaborative, and patient. I draw from CBT, DBT-informed skills, person-centered and solution-focused approaches, trauma-focused work, mindfulness, and other tools depending on what fits you best. Therapy with me isn’t about squeezing you into one approach. It’s about building enough trust and safety that we can understand what you’re carrying, develop tools that actually fit your life, and make room for meaningful change.

When working with kids and teens, I often use play, art, drawing, music, card games, and conversation to help therapy feel natural and engaging. With adults, sessions may have a little more structure. We might pick up where we left off, work through a specific concern, use a worksheet, practice a skill, or even have something to continue between sessions—but there’s always room to change direction when life brings something new through the door.

You might hear me ask, “What do you need from me in this moment?” or “How did it feel to let that out?” I believe feelings aren’t weaknesses, healing doesn’t happen on an imaginary timeline, and sometimes the most helpful thing we can do is sit with what’s happening instead of rushing to make it disappear. I’ll validate what you’re feeling while also helping you notice your strengths, patterns, and progress—and when a gentle challenge is needed, I tend to lead with curiosity rather than confrontation.

I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Eastern University. At the heart of my work are safety, trust, honesty, curiosity, and genuine connection. I want therapy to be a place where you can laugh, cry, think, question, learn, and show up without feeling like you need to be perfect.

Guiding Vibe: You are not meant to be perfect; you are meant to be the best version of you.

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and you don’t need to walk in knowing exactly what to say or what needs to change. You get to show up exactly as you are and move at your own pace. Healing isn’t linear, and you don’t have to carry everything alone. We can start wherever you are and figure out the rest together.
