OFFERING TELEHEALTH APPOINTMENTS ANYWHERE IN GEORGIA AND IN PERSON APPOINTMENTS IN STOCKBRIDGE

Hello, my name is Ross Belflower, and I am an intern therapist at Tiny Planet Counseling. I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Valdosta State University, and I am currently in my second year of study in the Clinical/Counseling Psychology master’s program at Clayton State University. My goal is to collaboratively navigate challenges, enabling you to achieve personal growth and positive change. My approach centers on creating a secure and understanding environment where you can openly discuss your thoughts and emotions. Together, we will explore your unique experiences and better understand how to manage symptoms both currently and in the future. I offer evidence-based techniques to address client struggles. Working through cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) will offer you practical tools to identify and reframe negative thought patterns, and regain a sense of control. Mindfulness practices will equip you with strategies to manage negative or uncomfortable feelings and promote a calmer state of mind. Throughout our sessions, we will work together to develop a roadmap for your healing journey. This may involve setting achievable goals, breaking down challenges into manageable steps, and monitoring progress along the way. I am committed to guiding you toward building resilience and developing coping mechanisms that can make a significant difference in your daily life. I’m here to offer a supportive and open space for you to navigate through challenges. I want to assure you that taking this step towards seeking help is a powerful act of self-care. Together, we can work towards understanding the roots of your challenges and develop effective strategies to alleviate their impact. I am committed to fostering a genuine and empathetic relationship, where your experiences are honored and validated.
