If you are tired of struggling and are ready to leave the past in the past, please consider allowing me to assist with your journey. My name is Amy and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have very specialized training in the treatment of trauma utilizing EMDR and other modalities. My style of therapy is unique, in that I provide intensive services to trauma survivors, often utilizing twice-a-week sessions or sessions that are longer than the traditional 50-minutes. I am currently only accepting new clients for specific trauma treatment who either have their own established therapist and want to incorporate specific trauma treatments, or who would be interested in seeing another therapist at Tiny Planet Counseling who can provide any needed stabilization or preparatory work required for effective trauma treatment. Since most of my services are provided in a shorter-term, more intensive period of time, and because I utilize evidence-based trauma treatments, clients often see progress faster than with traditional talk therapy.
