Welcome! I am glad you are here. It can be a big step to reach out to talk to someone and I welcome the opportunity to introduce myself as you make a decision about a therapist. My name is Rachel and I am a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW). I have a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from The King’s College in New York, and a Master of Social Work from Kennesaw State University here in Georgia.

Over the years I have worked with all age groups in a wide variety of settings. I provide individual, couples, and family therapy services and approach therapeutic interactions with compassion, empathy, and an open mind. My goal is for you to feel less alone with whatever you are struggling with. It is also important that you feel safe to work through those struggles, assured that you won’t be judged as we work collaboratively to achieve your goals. My passion is grief and loss (in all its forms) but I also serve those with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, conflict resolution, and stress related issues. (See below for a more comprehensive list.)

My therapeutic approach is diverse, implementing various modalities and interventions. This allows me to tailor our work together to meet your specific needs with your specific personality. Therapy is not one size fits all and I want you to know that YOU matter. Your peace-of-mind, health, and well-being are my top priority and I welcome the opportunity to get to know you.
