Hello, I am Lauren and I have an absolute love for people! I received a Master of Science in Clinical and Counseling Psychology with a focus on multiculturalism. I am in the process of becoming licensed and seek to use my skill and education to help others live a life that is meaningful to them. An authentic life looks differently to every person, and that’s what is beautiful about being an individual! I provide an open, genuine space for you to talk through and explore the things that matter.
I became a counselor because I see the therapeutic relationship as sacred and life changing. When the modern world leaves us feeling empty, disconnected, and isolated, we need support from others. My therapeutic model is holistic and person-centered, which means that the person as a whole is addressed within therapy. Different dynamics “below the surface” such as your social, emotional, mental, physical, and sometimes spiritual are explored rather than only the one issue. Exploring your strengths, values, and beliefs helps get us to the core of who you are and creates meaningful changes. I also have a collaborative approach, which means that we are in a partnership together for your healing.
It is a human need to feel genuinely seen, valued, and listened to. I believe in the power of the shared human experience and knowing you’re not alone in your struggles. Life is a journey of self-love and self-discovery, and it is an honor to be a part of your journey.
