Hi! My name is Amber Tran, and I am a pre-licensed counselor with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Oklahoma.
Our identities are shaped by many factors, including cultural, societal, and familial expectations. As a first-generation Vietnamese American, I understand how these influences can impact an individual's mental health, sense of belonging, and self-acceptance. I am passionate about helping clients explore these experiences. I take an integrative approach to therapy, incorporating techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and person-centered therapy. I tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs while providing a warm and empathetic space.
